Petting Zoo:

By hiring Big C Ranch LLC, I hereby accept any risks involved in participation, accept all liability, and will hold harmless Big C Ranch LLC for any damages to my property or injuries to my person or to my minor child(ren). This release of liability includes, but is not limited to, damages or injuries incurred during petting, feeding, or grooming animals.

I agree to abide by the precautions and safety instructions put into place by Big C Ranch LLC. I further understand that animal behavior can be unpredictable, and that interacting with animals carries certain inherent risks, but are not limited to:

Being bitten, trod upon, head-butted, pulled, or otherwise injured during direct contact with horses, cows, pigs, goats, rabbits, ducks, and chickens. Injuries can include, but are not limited to: eye injury, bruising, sprains, and scratches.

I agree to mitigate the risk of damages or injury by following the safety rules as follows and ensuring that children under my care do so as well:

Do not tease, poke at, or otherwise annoy the animals.
Never put fingers in or near an animal’s mouth, and follow staff instructions for feeding.
Respect safety barriers and follow instruction.
Wash hands thoroughly after pet animals.

Boarding Intakes:

Payment is required at check-in for all standard boarding charges

Vaccines

All pets must be up to date on required vaccinations prior to their boarding stay. Please provide proof of vaccines from your veterinarian within 48 hours of your pet’s reservation. These records can be emailed or dropped off in a hard copy form. Until proof is provided, we reserve the right to bump your reservation in favor of another pet that meets all the requirements.

Required Canine Vaccines: Rabies Distemper Bordetella

Flea & Tick Preventative

To prevent the spread of internal and external parasites, all pets are required to be on a flea and tick preventative year-round. If your pet is found to have fleas or ticks while in our care, they will be treated at your expense with Capstar. Costing $8 per day for up to 7 consecutive days.

Health Care Information

If, at any time during your pet’s stay, a medical concern arises that does not require immediate attention, you will be contacted and advised of the situation, and we will follow your instructions. In the event of an emergency situation or injury that requires IMMEDIATE medical attention, we will make every attempt to contact you for instruction. If we are unable to reach you, we will proceed with the necessary life-preserving treatment at your cost at Emergency Veterinary Care Centers in Westville Indiana.

I assume responsibility for all charges until I, or an emergency contact, have been reached. I understand that my pet will be treated for fleas/ticks at my expense if they are detected.

Play Groups

Playgroups are offered throughout the day for dogs boarding with us. Playgroups are monitored at all times by a caretaker and are held at the boarding staff’s discretion. If a dog is not a good candidate for group play, they will be given one-on-one playtime and bathroom breaks with a caretaker each day. If for any reason, you would like your dog to not be a part of playgroups, we will gladly accommodate your wishes.

Feeding Instructions

Please give feeding instructions for your pet. We do ask that you bring your dog’s regular food to limit the possibility of stomach upset.

Medication Instructions

Please list any current medications or supplements you will bring for your pet and the dose, frequency, and time given.

Behavior & Training

Please list any of the following behaviors that apply to your dog.

Liability/Release Statement

I certify that the information provided in this form is accurate to the best of my knowledge, and I have not withheld any information regarding our pet’s/pets’ health or behavior that could endanger our pet(s) or other pets or staff in the facility. Should any of this information change before a future boarding stay, I will notify Big C Ranch LLC.

I understand that there are inherent risks to bringing my pet(s) to a boarding facility. I agree that Big C Ranch LLC will not be liable for any claims of injury, illness, damage, or death to my pet during its stay and that under no circumstances will Big C Ranch LLC be liable for consequential damages. I agree that I am responsible for any harm caused by my pet while in the care of Big C Ranch LLC. I shall indemnify Big C Ranch LLC against any claims made against it or for losses or damages suffered by Big C Ranch LLC as a result of my pet. I understand that I will be responsible for any and all costs incurred during this and any future boarding stays.

Sales Policy

All animals are available; unless a nonrefundable deposit is received.
(Deposit amount varies on the animal)

Deposits can be paid via Cash, Zelle, Venmo or PayPal.
Remaining balance will be paid in CASH and is due on the designated date of pick up.
A pick up day will be arranged. If the animal is not picked up by that designated day, seller has the right to keep the deposit and sell the animal to another interested party.
Buyer may have a vet come to Seller’s property to perform a pre-purchase exam prior to the final sale of the animal.
Once an animal leaves Seller’s property, Seller is not responsible for that animal. It is up to the buyer to do their duties to care for the animal.

To ensure the safety of all our animals, they will not leave our care until he/she is eating good and deemed acceptable and fit to leave our farm. We PRIDE ourselves on providing others with animals that we ourselves, would be happy to receive.

We RESEVE ALL RIGHTS to refuse a sale at ANY time. If a refusal is made on our end after a deposit has been made, the amount paid will be fully refunded.
